Hello Peter, I really enjoyed watching this programme.... a very interesting conversation with Lea Hogg. Unfortunately, our Maltese Islands are being rapidly invaded by foreigners... Maltese feel strangers in their own country. Over developments in the name of progress is nonsensical when we allow the destruction of our language, our culture our traditions our traditional food... this is not progress it is regressing and the deterioration of our once beautiful islands is heartbreaking to watch either when in Malta or when living abroad. Peter do you remember the home help that used to come to St Paul's Bay during the villegiatura Summer months???... I do remember your mother, she used to cook Ghagin ( Zibeg) with ricotta and parsley amonsgst other many delicious things ... that was yummy! I always remember you as a young lad you were always polite and respectful, well mannered and kind. Keep speaking out maybe...many will listen...perhaps we we will reclaim our beautiful islands once again...

My Grandfather was one of the Sapiano Brothers all Bakers. Nannu Michael Angelo, Grand Uncles Kruc, Paul and John. I do not know much about them other then my Grand Uncle Kruc loved to party. I also love watching all the videos.

Malta used to be called The island of sunshine and history. Then it went to The island of bells, smells and pregnant women. Now it's the island of cranes, smells and scams.

@ 8:47 That's called "the law of ever decreasing returns" You can only squeeze so much: after that, it's costing you more than what you get in return. You're well past that in Malta.

There's no rubbish and pollution problems there. There's a population problem there. These business people complaining are enabling this problem by thriving on the profits of their businesses which bring outsiders by their millions.
